报告人简介:⑴、现在工作单位及职称⑵、主要研究方向⑶、学术成就简述(100字以内)

Eric Monflier was born in Boulogne sur Mer (France) in 1966. He graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille (ENSCL) and received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Lille in 1992 under the supervision of Professor F. Petit in the field of organometallic chemistry and homogeneous catalysis. In 1992, he became Conférences at the University of Artois where he set up an independent research group working on aqueous phase organometallic catalysis. In 1995, he received his Habilitation and was promoted Professor in 1996. His current research interests are mainly in the field of supramolecular catalysis and catalysis in multiphase systems.

He has played a key role in the development of efficient supramolecular mass transfer promoters for aqueous organometallic catalysis. He received the Prix de la Division Catalyse from French Chemical Society in 1996, the Prix des Techniques Innovantes pour l’Environnement ; from French agency for environment and energy management in 2004, and the Prix de l'

Innovation et de la Valorisation de la Recherche from OSEO - French innovation agency in 2009. At the present time, he is the Director of the UCCS Artois laboratory. With around 31 permanent staff members (25 scientific and 6 technical and administrative) UCCS Artois constitutes a unique team involved in fundamental and applied research in the fields of catalysis (heterogeneous and homogeneous) and solid state chemistry.

He is the author of 121 international scientific publications, 17 book chapters and 9 patents. Bibliometric indicators (ISI Web of Knowledge, September 22, 2011) : Total number of Web of Science articles: 121
