In this talk, I will use two dynamic systems as motivating examples, and discuss first how several modifications of the basic activator/repressor circuit can promote oscillation within individual biological clocks, and second, how multiple clocks coordinate their oscillations. |

报告人简介:⑴、现在工作单位及职称 ⑵、主要研究方向 ⑶、学术成就简述(100字以内) Prof. Qiong Yang got her BS in Physics from USTC in 2003. She received her PhD in Physics from MIT in 2009, followed by a postdoctoral research in Stanford University from 2009 to 2013. Dr. Yang will join University of Michigan as an Assistant Professor starting from 2014. Dr. Yang received numerous prestigious awards such as HHMI Fellow of the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation (2011-2013), The Helena Anna Henzl-Gabor Young Women in Science (2012, 2013). She has 5 outstanding papers including Cell (2), Science (1), and Nat. Cell Biol. (1), and PLoS Biol. (1). | |
